Carrera Ultralight Aircraft By Advanced Aviation

Ultralight Aircraft Magazine - The Carrera can be a legal Canadian Basic ultralight aircraft. It features all aluminum, bolt and rivet together construction, covered in dacron sail cloth. The Carrera is a high wing, strut braced ultralight and was produced in both a taildragger and a tri-cycle gear version. It has a steerable nosewheel / tailwheel, in a pusher configuration. It uses a center mount stick with center stick and a left hand throttle. 

Carrera 150 Ultralight Aircraft

Both versions of the Carrera were available in a number of engine configurations, including the Rotax 377, Rotax 447 and Rotax 503. The Carrera used a 2.58 to 1 reduction drive usually spinning a two or three blade wooden propeller. The Carrera comes equipped with a nose fairing with windscreen. Basic flight and engine instrument include an airspeed, altimeter, slip indicator, tachometer, EGT, CHT. Suspension is provide by the main landing gear. The Carrera came with a four-point restraint system, 5 gallon fuel tank and a fully anodized airframe.
